TSINGHUA PBCSF ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

In April 2018, the Tsinghua Alumni Association officially approved the establishment of the Tsinghua PBCSF Alumni Association (PBCSF-THAA), evolving from the original Wudaokou Alumni Association. PBCSF-THAA was formally inaugurated at the Fifth Tsinghua PBCSF Alumni Work Conference on December 20, 2018, during which the First Council was elected. On the same day, the First Council convened its inaugural meeting and elected its principal leaders. On September 13, 2024, during the Tsinghua PBCSF Alumni Representatives Conference and the Eighth Alumni Work Conference, the Second Council was elected. On October 10, 2025, the Second Council held its second meeting. At the meeting, Jiao Jie was elected as the President of the Second Council.

Research Center for Alumni Development

On September 12, 2018, the Administrative Committee of the PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University approved the establishment of the Research Center for Alumni Development. The Center is dedicated to systematically studying the School’s development history, cultural traditions, and educational characteristics; refining its educational philosophy; promoting the integration of Tsinghua culture with Wudaokou heritage; and contributing to the formation of the School’s distinctive culture. The Center focuses on researching theories and practices of alumni development, exploring long-term development patterns, improving the School’s alumni service system, encouraging alumni support for talent development and institutional advancement, and fostering the shared progress of alumni and the School. Its main responsibilities include institutional history research, alumni development research, the enhancement of alumni organizations and integration mechanisms, and promoting alumni engagement in School development.

Alumni Affairs Office

Upon the establishment of the School on March 29, 2012, the Alumni Affairs and Cooperative Development Office was formed as the administrative department responsible for alumni work. It was renamed the Alumni Affairs Office in 2015. The Office is responsible for maintaining alumni relations, including establishing and updating the alumni database, organizing alumni events, providing services to alumni, and encouraging alumni participation in the School’s development. At its inception, Zhang Wei was appointed Director for the Alumni Affairs Office. On March 26, 2024, the School Council appointed Zhang Wei as Assistant Dean overseeing alumni affairs. On July 12, 2024, the Council appointed Li Jingfang as Director of the Alumni Affairs Office, thereby ending Zhang Wei’s concurrent role in that position.
